The making of a Blue Pottery product is a handmade process and the passes through certain stages to get the finished product.

Blue Pottery is a unique form of pottery which is a famous art of the Pink City Jaipur, Rajasthan.
It is made out of a similar frit material to Egyptian faience, is glazed and low-fired. No clay is used: the ‘dough’ for the pottery is prepared mixing quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fullers Earth), borax, gum and water.

The Artisans hand paint the designs on the dispenser, after several layers of coating its heated in oven (Bhatti).
