Blue Pottery is a unique form of pottery which is the famous art of the Pink City Jaipur, Rajasthan. The making of a Blue Pottery product is a handmade process and passes through certain stages to get the finished product.
It is made out of a similar frit material to Egyptian faience, is glazed and low-fired. No clay is used: the ‘dough’ for the pottery is prepared by mixing quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fullers Earth), borax, gum, and water. Beautiful and stylish, fine material, smooth texture, artistic atmosphere enhances the look of the table.
